Polar Bear Day!

Good day to all, because it was polar bear on Sunday. Sorry for the late notice, because you probably wanted to wear something fat and white for polar bear day. Instead you can celebrate floral print day (Monday) or National Pig day on Tuesday. See? There are plenty of celebrations. Hope all tiz well from your perspective of the world.

Valenteve

Valentine's Eve inspired this. I know Valentine's really sucks for singles, for I have never been Valentined but I kind of enjoy this holiday. It's my excuse to wear excessive pink. Maybe I like it because I get to eat chocolate or maybe it's because I am just optimistic. Whatever it may be, I am one of the single least grouchy singles on V-day.

I'm sorry, my sister said to smile and so we've got this:

Spring Roll Partay

Well, my mom's friend helped a bunch of us make spring rolls. Gosh, they were all so good. We had fried spring rolls and fresh spring rolls that didn't get fried. The lady was vegetarian so she made meat ones and we got to share the meatless ones.

These are the fried spring rolls. They had noodles, mushrooms, carrots, onions, and other things I can't remember. They were wrapped in magical rice paper that gets sticky when you wet them. We dipped them in a special vegetarian sauce. The non vegetarian sauce is a fish sauce that smells kinda funny. The meat ones were filled with shrimp.

These are the fresh spring rolls. They have noodles, lettuce, faux sandwich meat, cucumber, and tofu in it. The rose thing in the middle was made out of a tomato. The peel was super carefully cut away from the tomato in a long strip and twirled for the flower. The meat alternative had crab and shrimp in it.

These are the lovely desserts we had. Chocolate cake, lime pie, and a delicious pineapple pudding jello thing.

Us children put our juice box juice in fancy glasses.

Darkness Emulated

It's like a secret. You can't really see it but I am in the four black pictures. I kinda liked how the flash messed the pictures up... so I didn't fix it. But, the problem is you can't see my clothes too well. It's okay. Because today isn't actually dark it's supposed to be bright all day long! How fanto, eh? Darkness is only emulated by this outfit.

Crocheted black top: 2ndhand. Jean vest: thrifted. Purple velvet dress: thrifted. Super ripped tights: by moi. Belt: 2nd hand. Booooots!!!

--So, I got these boots from target for a very well price, thanks to the child labor force, and they are so cool I really have to stop buying things from target though.

Letters to Sherlock

Dear Sherlock,
Please pop up in your trench coat and pipe and find out what the problem is on this scary show so that it's not so scary. Two girls are watching Criminal Minds and I really don't like the show but it is super distracting as I type this. If you would just show up it would make things a whole lot better. You just have this way of making those gruesome scenes not happen.
I hope to see you soon!
Sincerely,
SoshSky
